For the first time, around 100 students met on the Lessing Theatre's studio stage on 7 March 2023. Each group had chosen a theme from the HUMAN Suite in advance and developed performance possibilities in class.
Now the HUMAN rehearsal offered the participating students from grades 5 to 12 the opportunity to get to to know all the groups involved and to show the first choreographic results of their own work. The very different choreographic approaches were discussed in the group with interest and open-mindedness.
The final interpretation of the HUMAN theme Community with dance teacher Gerda Brodmann-Raudonikis also underlined looking forward to the great Community Dance performance on 25 June 2023 at the Lessingtheater with up to 140 students.
The Cultural Office of the City of Wolfenbüttel is leading this HUMAN dance project together with the local group of Amnesty international e.V.
